Particle and high energy physics is a new research branch in Department of Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Engineering. We are interested in studying the most fundamental questions about nature, such as: what is the source of particles’ masses, quantum theory of gravitation, the asymmetry of matter and antimatter in nature, etc. In the meantime, we are interested in experimental techniques in high energy physics performed at colliders such as the Large Hadron Collider and KEK. Our group also focuses on simulating the interactions of fundamental particles and analyzing experimental data in high energy physics.
