Invitation to Nominate Year 3-4 Physics Students: NUS Science Summer Institute (SSI) 2026
The National University of Singapore (NUS) announce that the Science Summer Institute (SSI) 2026 will take place from 7 - 16 July 2026.
Following the success of SSI 2025, which welcomed nearly 270 senior undergraduate students from 45 universities across the region, SSI 2026 continues to offer a 10-day intensive academic programme featuring:
- Plenary and thematic lectures
- Hands-on masterclasses
- Fireside chats with experts
- Laboratory and research centre visits
- A final SSI Symposium

👩🎓 Who should apply?
Year 3-4 Physics students at VNUHCM are strongly encouraged to participate. Each university is expected to nominate approximately 5-8 students to ensure a balanced cohort.
🌟 Additional opportunities:
- Selected outstanding participants may receive funding support
- Shortlisted students may be invited for direct PhD admission interviews during SSI
- Students are also encouraged to seek financial support from their home institution
